Since March 2023, following her appointment as Chief Representative Officer (CRO), JN Bank Canada Representative Office, Paulette Sterling has been leading efforts to reconnect with the diaspora community, create brand awareness and advance the business of JN Bank.

Performance driven, with a strong commitment to learning, building teams and exceeding business goals, Ms Sterling joined the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) in 1993, and her past work experience with the JN Group have equipped her with the institutional and key competencies for the role of CRO at the JN Bankโ€™s Toronto Representative Office.

She worked with JN Money Services in the UK as Territory Manager for three years (2011-2014) and on her return to Jamaica in 2014, she rejoined JNBS as Senior Manager, Business Development and Research, where she supported the transformation project for the building society to become JN Bank. She was appointed Head โ€“ Strategy and Special Projects in 2017 for JN Bank, to aid in the smooth transition from the building society to a commercial bank, and in 2019 took up the role of Senior Manager โ€“ Group Talent and Performance Management in the JN Group People and Culture department.

Ms Sterling holds a Master of Science degree in Organisational Leadership and a BSc in Business Administration (Finance major), as well as professional certification in Organisational Development. She continues to serve in leadership capacities supporting youth and the performing arts programmes within her church community and contributes time to a girlsโ€™ Home in St. Catherine each year.
