The Jamaica Cancer Society’s Prostate Cancer Programme received a well-needed injection of funds from the Association of Surgeons in Jamaica, following a recent cheque hand-over at the Tony Thwaites Wing of the University Hospital of West Indies on Friday, October 4. The proceeds were from the Association of Surgeons’ annual Scrubs All Inclusive Party, held in March 2019 at the Mona Visitors’ Lodge. The funds will be used to bolster the JCS’s prostate cancer prevention programmes. To date the association has donated over $4 million to the Jamaica Cancer Society. JN Bank is a major sponsor of the annual Scrubs event.
