Natasha Philibert

Head – Finance, Accounting & Taxation

A highly accomplished and motivated finance expert, Natasha Philibert was promoted to the role of Head, JN Bank Finance, Accounting & Taxation effective, August 1, 2023. In this role she is primarily responsible to coordinate the daily financial and accounting activities of the bank.

With over 15 years of experience, Natasha’s expertise lies in Corporate Reporting, project management, internal control testing. She has conducted audits for companies across various sectors in Jamaica, including financial services, regulatory compliance, wealth and asset management, and manufacturing.

She joined JN Bank in 2018 as JN Bank Finance Manager with responsibility to ensure that the general ledger accounts accurately represent the financial transactions of the Bank, to monitor the systems to record the Bank’s expenditures, manage the preparation of monthly financial reports – providing explanations for expenditure variances as necessary.

In this role, she honed and displayed key skills such as Internal and External Financial Statements Preparation & Analysis and provided support to the Chief of Finance with Statutory Audit Engagement Management and People Management.

Mrs. Philibert is a Chartered Accountant by profession, with certifications from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) where she attained the level of Fellow. She holds a BSc. with Honours distinction in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and is currently completing her dissertation for an MBA in Strategic Leadership, and Innovation from Edinburgh Napier University. In addition, she is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ).
