Jamaica Day Foundation Award

As one of her first duties as JN Bank Chief Representative Officer, Monique Broughton attended the Toronto Jamaica Day Family, Food, and Music Festival Scholarship Foundation’s annual Christmas Dinner, Dance and Awards on December 14, 2024, at the Jamaica Canadian Centre. During the event, she accepted an award on behalf of the Representative Office in recognition of the Office’s dedicated support and sponsorship that has aided the Foundation’s outreach efforts.

Jamaica Canadian Association Seniors Programme Session

The Jamaica Canadian Association invited the JN Bank Canada Representative Office to be part of its Seniors Day Programme on April 1, 2025 at the Jamaican Canadian Community Centre, Toronto. During the engagement, the Chief Representative Officer, Monique Broughton, delivered an insightful presentation covering key topics related to Jamaica and the JN Group, including online banking, digital solutions, financial security and sending money home securely. The session aimed to empower seniors with essential knowledge to confidently manage their finances from Canada.

Meet the Motivators (MTM) 2025 Symposium

In May 2025, Monique Broughton represented the JN Bank Canada Representative Office at the Meet the Motivators 10th Anniversary Symposium, held at Sheridan College. At the event she participated in the Women in Leadership Panel discussion. The transformative event was designed to educate, inspire and empower women on their journey to personal and professional success. 42nd Anniversary of Jamaica Day Montreal Celebrations

In July 2025, the JN Bank Canada Representative Office returned to Montreal to again participate in and support the annual Jamaica Day Celebrations at Martin Luther King Park (formerly Kent Park), hosted by the Jamaica Association of Montreal. The Office has been a proud supporter of this event for several years, reaffirming its commitment to engaging with the Jamaican diaspora in Canada. As part of the visit to Montreal, the Office also hosted a pop-up session, offering expert advice, personalised support and relevant financial information to help community members confidently achieve their financial goals.
