    Breast Self Examinations

Early detection can save your life! Nearly 70 per cent of all breast cancers are found through self-examinations. With early detection, the five-year survival rate is 98 per cent. Take charge of your health, do regular breast self-exams!

    Mammograms

Doing an annual mammogram is the smart thing to do. It can detect breast cancer earlier – when it is most treatable. In fact, mammograms show changes in the breast up to two years before a patient or physician can feel them. If you’re 40 years or older, schedule a mammogram today!

    Exercise!

Do you take time out of your day to exercise? Studies have shown that exercise is a breast-healthy habit. With as little as one to two and a half hours of brisk walking per week you can reduce your risk of breast cancer by 18 per cent. Get moving, trim your cancer risk with exercise!
