INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECOVERING YOUR USERNAME FOR JN LIVE
Thank you for signing up for JN LIVE. Below are the steps to recover your username to access your account. For this process, you will need to input your:
- Date of birth
- Last name
- Mother’s maiden name
What is your Username? Your username was created during sign up. If you have forgotten your username and want to recover it please use one of the following methods:

- Select forgot your credentials, then select forgot username from the options
- You may also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to request a username recovery
An electronic token will be sent either via email or SMS depending on the method you chose. If, when completing the process, you opted to receive an email, but did not, please check your junk mail or spam. After receiving the mail, the electronic token is valid for five minutes so completion is required immediately.
NB: Remember your electronic token expires in approximately five minutes
Please note that JN LIVE access information is case sensitive, so care must be taken when entering your username, creating your password and also when answering your security questions.
Step 1: Click ‘Forgot your credentials’
Please select the “Forgot your credentials” option. Then proceed to the next window.
Step 2: Choose method to recover your credentials
Please select the “I don’t know my username” option from menu, then select continue.
Step 3: Enter your email address
Please enter the email address associated with your JN LIVE account. Then select Continue to proceed.
Step 4: Enter your verification details
Please insert your last name, your mother’s maiden name, and your DOB for verification purposes.
RECOVER VIA EMAIL
Step 5: Select option to receive new password
You will be presented with three options to recover your password.
- Email or can’t access my telephone or email
- Select your preferred option and click Continue. For this example we will use the email
NB: The email address must be consistent with the email address attached to your JN LIVE account.
Step 6: Congratulations!
Your username has been sent to email
RECOVER VIA TEXT
Step 7 : Selecting text recovery option
You will be presented with three options to recover your password. Text message, email or can’t access my telephone or email address. Select your preferred option and click ”Continue“. For this example, we will use the text message option.
NB: The telephone number must be consistent with the telephone number on file. The last two digits are provided as a hint.
Step 8: Enter your phone number
Please enter the last four digits of your mobile number on file. Then select continue.
Step 9: You have successfully completed the verification process.
Your verification code has been sent to your mobile via SMS.
Step 10: Enter your verification code
Please enter the verification code received via SMS, then select continue.
Step 11: Congratulations!
Your username has been sent to your mobile number via SMS.
UNABLE TO ACCESS RECOVERY OPTIONS
NB: If you do not have access to the email address or Mobile phone number provided to JN Bank, please select the “I can’t access my telephone and email address” option.
